
Alyse Murray Prior to joining GeorgiaLink, Alyse led the legislative team at the Capitol for the past two years at a government relations firm based in Atlanta. In that role, she built strong relationships throughout the Georgia General Assembly and with key state agency leaders. She represented a diverse portfolio of clients and worked across a wide range of policy areas. Before that, Alyse served as Governmental Relations Representative for the Georgia Electric Membership Corporation, representing 41 electric cooperatives and other electric and transmission organizations. There, she focused on issues including land use, renewable energy, broadband access, and more. Earlier in her career, she was the Director of Governmental Affairs for the Georgia Automobile Dealers Association, where she advocated for the legislative priorities of more than 500 dealer members across Georgia on issues like taxation, emissions, and consumer protection. Alyse also held multiple roles in the administration of Governor Nathan Deal and played a key role in both his campaign and re-election. An Albany native, Alyse earned a Political Science degree from Valdosta State University. She is also a graduate of the Zell Miller Leadership Institute and the Georgia Academy of Economic Development. Alyse has deep ties to both metro Atlanta and South Georgia and a strong appreciation for rural communities. She is a longtime volunteer with YMCA of the USA and the Atlanta Humane Society and lives in Marietta with her husband and daughter.
